This house uses heavy-duty kiln-dried cedar, which easily withstands the harsh outdoor elements. Kiln dried cedar is one of the best woods for a dog house because it’s virtually immune to wood rot. Plus, the exterior is treated with a natural color stain..Petsfit also has a reinforced floor. This gives the dog house the ability to withstand heavier dogs. 

Equipped with a slanted roof & groove design it provides excellent drainage.  Preventing damage to the roof & overall structure.  No worries about the roof springing a leak & dripping on your pet.
The Petsfit raised floor will not mold or rot on the underside.  Water passes underneath, leaving the reinforced floor boards untouched.The feet touching the ground are plastic.  A convenient door flap is included.  It provides cooling during the summer and insulation during the winter.  It also protects your dog from wind gusts and precipitation.

Easy to assemble with pre-drilled holes.

Even though this comes in a variety of sizes, it isn’t the best option for extra large dogs.  It is too small even in the largest size, and the floor supports are too weak to support the weight of a big dog.

The Indingo by Petmate is an igloo-shaped outdoor doghouse designed to keep pets warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and dry all year long.  Unlike other resin-type structures the Indigo dog house is designed for all weather conditions and situations. 

The heavy duty, structural foam dome design keeps snow from piling up on top of the shelter.  The dome and base have   Microban Antimicrobial Product Protection incorporated into the material, which helps prevent the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria.  

Structural foam is an insulated plastic and lightweight. This makes the product extremely durable while being surprisingly lightweight. The base of the interior is designed to move any interior moisture away from your pet and to the outer edges.

The Igloo is vented to maintain airflow for a number of reasons.  It keep the air inside the dome fresh & your pet comfortable by not overheating.  A plus on this product is the dome top ventilation. The vent is tucked under a rain cover, and the gently sloped downward to encourage water movement away from the shelter vent. Also, the adjustable vent can be tipped up or down, for severe wind or rain conditions.
